Many colleges and universities have instituted online education programs. These programs are the best way to have flexibility into your schedule and lower the cost of school. If colleges are going to meet the rising demand for education, they will need to have the open schedules for students to attend. There are students who work different time schedule and will need to be able to take their classes by mobile. The online course I took has the showed me that I can will be able to balance a fulltime job and learn classes. Recent studies show that a lot of schools are going to be hybrid half online and in person. In addition, more schools are starting to look into expanding their student body since they can have student who are able to live off campus. However, some people argue that online school is not as challenging as coming to class. They also say that people won’t take the course as seriously. These arguments can all be combatted because there are students who will take their education seriously. For this reason, online education is still a new platform that is being developed and they are still testing it to this day.

With more and more students taking online courses, both the students and colleges benefit. For example, the colleges benefit from not having to run as much of the facilities such as the classrooms. In addition, they are not paying for the materials that make up a classroom like air and lights. However, online education does have some drawbacks. For instance, like there are no teacher to student interactions and cheating on tests. These problems could be easily solved. First, having the student be able to see the teacher in person once a week. Second, use applications that do not allow internet browsing when testing. If these problems are addressed, both students and colleges would benefit because it will make the college seem more credible and more students would join, because of the flexibility and seriousness aspect that it applies.
Thesis: Why turbo engine cars are replacing naturally aspirated cars in the future? Claim: Turbos are replacing naturally aspirated engines Data1: Smaller engine that turbo uses for the same displacement as a bigger non turbo assisted engine. Warrant1: A turbo forces more air and fuel into the engine more quickly than the naturally aspirated engine can gather. This gives them same output because the turbo is compensating the power. Data2: Turbos are better for the environment by producing less emissions. Warrant2: = Turbos functions off of wasted energy and recycles back through its system to the engine. Data3: You have increased mpg when using turbo assisted engines. Warrant3: Since the engine is smaller and less power has to be generated by the engines it self. This is why the turbo comes in handy recycling wasted energy as well. Since the naturally aspirated engine takes more energy to come up to speed it waste more fuel. Counterclaim: The naturally aspirated engine is constantly being replaced by auto builders with a turbo. It’s cheaper to produce the engine and power is easily made. Rebuttal: Due many people who love the instance feedback a naturally aspirated engine I don’t see every car being changed to turbo. Due to the Naturally aspirated engines give you better advantages in certain situations such as reliability and lower end torque for lifting heavy loads.
Watching the debate that unfolded on September 26 with the two presidential nominees Hilary Clinton and Donald Trump. Really opened my eyes to understanding what those candidates stood for. I saw different ways they used rhetoric to persuade the audience to get their vote. They have both used different methods of applying this rhetoric in the debate. I want to start off with candidate Donald Trump and analyze his method of using Logos, Pathos, and Ethos in his speech. The way he used logos the way he breaks down the question. He states a situation that he has heard someone has encountered a certain situation and he gives a way that he feels that could solve it. Candidate Trump uses Pathos in the experience he had by referring to the individuals as friends of his. Which makes him seem endearing to the average every day working man. He also uses ethos by using strong statements saying that he will complete a task. He gains some audience appeal by countering Hilary’s argument with a different solution that might seem logical to some individuals. However, candidate Hilary Clinton speech showed very great examples of Logos, Pathos and Ethos throughout her speech. The way I interrupted the logos method she utilized were very short, but distinctive sentences that were clear. As well as straight to the point, for example she mentioned reasons and points to why Trump has not submitted taxes. The way she uses Pathos in her speech when she relates to the small business owners who start from humble begging’s who are trying to grow. She mentioned a story about her father how he used to install fabric drapes. Lastly she took on the Ethos task in her speech by appealing to the audience by telling the audience factual statements and debunking his allegations and claims to what he promises as well as prothesized. Viewing both of the candidates visually speaking. I have noticed that Donald Trump was very confident in the beginning of the segment until he was asked about his statistics and claims. He seemed to have stumbled to find an answer. He would become sort of agitated and kind of lash out with comments as well as have very fast hand gestures. What I saw visually with Hilary Clinton she seemed a bit nervous in the begging but started to catch her wind further into the segment. She seemed more laid back and thought through what she was going to say. Since the W.O.V.E.N element Electronic was used in this debate I felt more informed because I can see their emotions through their response as well hearing the tone it was voiced into. In conclusion I now have an understanding of how they both breakdown rhetoric to persuade a viewer for a vote. It showed me a great indication of each candidate will handle an issue if they become president. The debate showed me who I relate mostly to in their view points. I would to stay unbiased but Hillary Clinton showed great admiration in her debate as well as rhetoric methods used to persuade an audience. And I can’t wait to see the next debate when it airs. Kristof begins the essay by calling out the people who are working on stopping sweatshops. And inviting them to take a look at what the people who live there go through and their living conditions. The problem he identifies is that the factory working jobs are not as bad as they seem for people. Kristof assumes his readers are against factory development in third world country. His purpose in this essay is to persuade you that factories are great for third world countries that have extreme poverty. In order to accomplish this purpose, he appeals mainly to explaining the benefits of working in a factory compared to living in poverty. In his essay, Kristof addresses the main argument against his thesis the idea that before the people against ending factory labor take the time to look at the benefits that factories bring. They should focus on developing the factories further and make them better, while encouraging trade. Critical Response Violent video games don’t only affect our older children in the teens, but video games also effects the children who are under the age of 13.
